Media Submissions ("Quick Truths" Campaign): When you voluntarily submit a 1-minute video, audio clip, or message, we collect the media file, your provided name or pseudonym, age bracket, and regional location. This material is processed to populate our public-facing digital archives.
Communications Data: When you contact our Secretariat or Press Office (e.g., via press@globaldatadirectorate.org), we retain your email address and correspondence history to fulfill your media or administrative request.
Technical Logs: To maintain website stability and security, our hosting infrastructure logs baseline network data (such as truncated IP addresses). We do not deploy invasive third-party tracking pixels or commercial marketing cookies.

DATA RETENTION & STORAGE BOUNDARIES

In accordance with our core founding framework:

Permanent Archives: Approved submissions to the Quick Truths database or official institutional registries are preserved as permanent historical records of regional heritage, unless a formal deletion request is executed.
Sovereign Hosting: We actively utilize sovereign storage practices, meaning your data is stored securely and is never sold, leased, or monetized for commercial advertising or algorithmic profiling.

YOUR RIGHTS & DATA CONTROL

Regardless of your geographical jurisdiction, the GDD honors fundamental digital sovereignty rights. You maintain the following direct controls over your data:

Access and Portability: You have the right to request a digital transcript or copy of any personal data or media submissions held within our registry system.
Rectification: You may request updates to biographical details or attributions linked to your public archive entries.
Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten"): You retain the right to withdraw your consent. Upon receiving a validated request from the originating email address, we will permanently purge your media files and associated personal records from our active servers and archives.
