The Global Data Directorate (GDD) has officially announced the launch of Quick Truths, a ground-breaking international project designed to amplify authentic human experiences and shift decision-making power directly to the next generation.
While traditional global institutions often struggle to integrate genuine youth input, the GDD is breaking the mold by launching a platform driven entirely by community stories. Quick Truths invites individuals from all over the world to submit a 1-minute video clip sharing their personal stories, local community realities, or key messages they believe world leaders need to hear.
"Data is just the framework; people are the point," said Ben Causier, Secretary-General at GDD. "If global institutions want real credibility, we have to start sharing actual decision-making power. Quick Truths bypasses the usual institutional filters to create a living archive of unfiltered truths that will directly shape our upcoming global community impact projects."
The project focuses on three core pillars: global community impact, shared governance with youth leaders, and ethical storytelling. By combining grass-roots video submissions with data-driven advocacy, GDD aims to bridge the gap between high-level international policy and real-world local action.
Submissions for Quick Truths are now officially open to participants worldwide. To learn more about the project, view ongoing submissions, or upload your own 1-minute video, visit https://globaldatadirectorate.org/quicktruths
